A patient suffering from depression required individualized counseling intervention, for which Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) was deemed suitable. The symptoms of his depression were evident in the form of low mood, feelings of hopelessness, feeling annoyed easily, loss of motivation, finding it challenging to make the right decisions, and even sometimes being low on self-esteem. The patient lost his wife, whom he had married ten years ago. It was his love marriage, and the grief was extreme for him. He seemed to be experiencing these emotions for the past four. He also has two daughters and wants to be normal in life routine tasks, especially for his children.
